Ethics in our organizational leaders

As we move toward final approval of our Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership program, we continue to look for articles and research that will serve as instructional resources for our curriculum.  The areas of ethics and trust building are significant aspects of leader effectiveness.  The following article by Doug Wilson, “Where leadership direction and employee engagement meet” speaks to these issues.  In particular, his “Leadership Implications” guide provides some excellent guidance.  It’s a good read!

Maintaining Accountability in our Educational Systems

Dr. George Sharp shared this interesting article regarding how we measure student success and accountability.  What makes an educational system successful?  In this article, “How should we gauge student success?  The accountability dilemma”,  Marc Tucker suggests a new way of looking at educational systems and how they measure success.  I think he’s on the right track!
